Thank you for your interest in registering. Unfortunately registration is now closed for our 2024 Graduation. Graduates do not need a Ticketmaster ticket for entry.
Graduate registration is $47.50 and includes an engraved diploma holder for you to take home. Guest tickets need to be purchased separately through Ticketmaster.
Your Graduate Registration Fee covers administration fees, the cost of the event, and an engraved diploma holder.
Graduates must order regalia separately from registration through Jostens. You can expect to receive your regalia package within 4 weeks of payment and it will be shipped directly to you from Josten’s. Orders must be placed by July 1st to ensure delivery in time for the event.

• All academic requirements and financial obligations must be successfully completed and an overall passing grade average achieved before registration closes on July 1, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

• Your regalia must be purchased by July 1, 2024.
• Graduates must travel to the ceremony in Atlanta, GA. Travel expenses are not covered by Penn Foster.
• Professional attire is recommended.
**All graduates who register are subject to review for verification of graduation status.

Yes, you will need to have your tuition obligations paid in full in order to attend graduation. Please visit your Learner Center to determine your remaining tuition.

Yes, the box office will be open starting at noon. We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available the day of the event. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance of the event to ensure entrance to the graduation ceremony.

No. You may purchase as many tickets as you would like for your friends and family to celebrate your achievements in person! For friends and family who cannot attend, they can watch from home through our Facebook live stream!
All guests over the age of 2 years require a ticket to be allowed entry into the venue.
Both the Graduate Registration Fee and guest tickets for this event are non-refundable.
The only reserved seating is for graduates, faculty, and staff. All other seating is general admission.
Yes. Graduates attending graduation must purchase a cap and gown separately from your school’s Josten’s store. Orders must be placed by July 1, 2024. Your cap, gown, and tassel will be mailed directly to you from Josten’s. If you prefer to purchase your cap and gown elsewhere, it’s important to make sure it is black to match all of our graduates.

As long as your cap and gown are black, you are not required to purchase one for the ceremony.
Yes! We encourage graduates to decorate their caps if they wish to. Feel free to get creative but remember that this is a family-friendly event and all designs and sayings should be appropriate for the ceremony.
No. Official documents are mailed to your address of record. The ceremony is symbolic, meant to celebrate the successes of our students; however, you will receive a diploma holder during the ceremony to commemorate your special day.
We don’t recommend bringing anything you can’t carry on your person at all times. There are no lockers or spaces to store personal items in the arena. If you would like to bring your diploma, degree, or certificate, please be sure you have a friend or family member in attendance hold on to it for safe keeping.
Yes. Graduates with disabilities who require special assistance to participate in the ceremony should indicate what assistance they need within the registration form. We will accommodate reasonable requests. If you’re not sure about needing special assistance or have questions, reach out to gradsupport@pennfoster.edu.
A sign language interpreter will be on stage to accommodate those with hearing disabilities.
Only registered, documented support animals will be allowed into the arena per the arena’s policy.
Accessible parking and seating is available for guests with disabilities. Arena staff can assist with wheelchair support for those who need assistance getting to their seats.
Graduation will be held Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. Doors open at 12:00 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Your pressed cap, gown, and tassel. We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes. The arena’s floors are concrete and you can expect to be standing for a few hours prior to the main event.
$10. The venue accepts the follow methods of payment: credit/debit card & Apple or Google Pay only. You can pay for parking when you arrive or you can pre-purchase a parking pass here.
Accessible parking and seating is available for guests with disabilities. Arena security can assist with any special needs.
No, there is no secure place to store personal belongings (e.g. purses, coats, cellphones, etc.) during the ceremony; therefore, please do not bring personal belongings to the event.
For the safety and security of all graduates, guests, and staff, Gas South Arena has a bag policy. Small clutch bags, small clear, vinyl bags, and diaper bags and medically necessary items are allowed. You can find more details on approved bag sizes and regulations here.
Yes. Food and beverages will be sold at the arena concession stands. No outside food or beverages are allowed in the arena.
The Grad Team, professional commencement photographers, will be onsite to take formal portraits of all graduates during the upcoming August commencement. You are invited to pre-register to receive access to your professional commencement photos. Registering in advance allows us to provide you with a link to your images in the fastest possible manner following commencement. You also have the option to upload an image of yourself to better ensure we accurately identify your images from the thousands that will be taken on commencement day. Penn Foster Group is a larger group of online learning providers, including those listed above. In order to accommodate the large demand and maintain the spirit of celebration for this special milestone for our learners, families and friends, these institutions will hold a combined graduation ceremony event.
Yes! Our event will be broadcast live on our Facebook pages for anyone who cannot attend the event in person to watch.
Unfortunately, with tens of thousands of graduates each year, it would not be possible for us to recognize each individual graduate at the event for those not in direct attendance.
